INTERIOR DESIGN EXECUTION INTERN

CURATED., a leading Miami Beach-based luxury design studio, seeks an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Interior Design Execution Intern to join our fast-paced and high-energy team. 

Gain real-world experience working alongside our Execution Manager on high-end residential, hospitality, and commercial projects across South Florida. CURATED. combines cutting-edge technology with a sophisticated European aesthetic to craft spaces that are both beautiful and functional. Our process-driven international team crafts bespoke interiors – and we firmly aspire to exceed client expectations on every single project. 

What You Will Do:

• Regular Site Visits: You'll assist with regularly scheduled visits to client properties. These visits allow you to witness projects unfold firsthand, ensuring progress aligns with design plans and quality standards are met.

• Sample Material Coordination: Work closely with contractors to ensure timely delivery of samples, from paint swatches to intricate millwork pieces. Ensuring clients have access to all the materials they need to make informed design decisions. 

• Miami High Rise Logistics: Help facilitate loading dock check-ins for contractors, navigating the unique operational complexities presented by Miami's architectural landscape to ensure smooth deliveries and a streamlined project flow.

• Project Timelines: Assist in creating and maintaining interior design project schedules. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will be crucial in keeping projects on track and meeting deadlines.

• Visual Storytelling: Assist in capturing evocative behind-the-scenes photos and videos (for use by the CURATED. marketing team) to document project progress. This visual content helps fuel our website presence and social media campaigns, showcasing CURATED.'s design expertise to the world.

• Sourcing Style: Assist with sourcing smaller project-specific components, from designer accessories to dinnerware, adding those finishing touches that elevate a space. You'll have the opportunity to develop a keen eye for detail as you identify those finishing touches that elevate each space.

• Sample Library Curation: Maintain and organize the CURATED. interior design sample library, ensuring a smooth workflow and easy access to design inspiration for our entire team.

• Cross Tasking Opportunities: In addition, this internship may offer opportunities for hands-on involvement in procurement, administration, and marketing tasks, fostering a comprehensive grasp of the inner workings of a boutique interior design firm. Through this, you'll cultivate essential skills in project management, budgeting, and communication.

By participating in these diverse tasks, you'll gain a well-rounded understanding of the entire interior design process, from conception to completion.

What We Require:

• A Foundation in Design: Current enrollment in or recent graduation from a program in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
