Women's Equality Day commemorates August 26, 1920 when a woman's right to vote officially became part of the US constitution. This day marks a turning point in the history of the struggle for women's equal rights.
This networking fundraiser will be held at Drinkhouse Fire & Ice from 6 to 8 PM. Proceeds will be used to fund a scholarship for a young woman graduating from Miami Beach Senior High in 2018. The scholarship will be administered through the Miami Beach Chamber's Education Foundation.
There will be opportunity for businesses to have vendor tables to sell or showcase products and/or services at the event. The cost to attend is $15/pp and includes a complimentary drink and light bites.
