Valet car drop off location is conveniently located directly behind Brickell World Plaza; arriving from Brickell Avenue turn into 6th or 7th street and into the private driveway behind the building. Husband and wife duo Tunu and Yona Puri have teamed up with restaurateur Arjun Waney, co-founder of world-renowned hotspots Zuma, Coya, La Petite Maison and The Arts Club in London, to launch a new restaurant and bar concept, Tamarina. The restaurant specializes in coastal Italian cuisine inspired by the Mediterranean, incorporating freshly caught seafood and local produce prepared using classic Italian techniques. It also feature a Crudo Bar and an al fresco Champagne Bar.Tamarina’s ingredient-driven fare respects approachable Italian Mediterranean cooking styles, but is presented in a modern, sophisticated fashion. Whether it’s branzino straight from Italy or the morning’s fresh, local snapper, Tamarina selects the highest quality, seasonal ingredients and prepares them simply, allowing the natural flavors to speak for themselves. Aside from Italian-inspired dishes like Seared Sea Scallops with Caponata and Big Eye Tuna with Shaved Fennel and Orange, Tamarina’s Crudo Bar offers an extensive selection of raw and lightly cooked frutti di mare from crudo and carpaccio to tartare and caviar. The jewel in this crown is Tamarina’s elaborate oyster program, which highlights the best varieties of the season, from the briny East Coast Blue Points to the more esoteric, ultra-clean flavored West Coast Kusshis.
