2018 Veterans Day Parade
2018 VETERANS DAY PARADE
The Veterans Day Parade will be held on Veterans Day, Sunday, November 11th. The parade will travel through the City of Miami Beach, followed by a wreath laying ceremony. It will honor the men and women who have sacrificed to fight for freedom. Commencing at 11:11 a.m., the parade will bring participants from 5th street Ocean Drive to Lummus Park.
The wreath laying ceremony and 21-gun salute at Lummus Park will begin at approximately 12:15 PM. following the parade. A moment of silence will be observed in honor of the First World War Armistice Day Tradition.
The outreach to schools, organizations and businesses has been very well received as more than 2000 participants walked in previous parades. Let’s help make this year’s events the best and most memorable ever!
Our President Jerry Libbin and Membership Director Wendy Unger will be on 5th Street and Ocean Drive (Beach side). Participating guests must be at this meeting point at 9:45 AM SHARP. Guests will need to fill out waivers at check-in to receive a parade wrist band. After you check in, you will be escorted to the float.
