About Us
Imagine a College that deploys the power of the arts to create, innovate, and inspire a more just, beautiful, sustainable, and healthy tomorrow. Imagine a College taking the initiative to move its activities from the campus to Miami Beach in order to provide the community free-of-charge admission to musical performances, theatrical performances, exhibitions, lectures, master classes, and symposia.
Imagine a College creating a cultural arts incubator ideally located on Lincoln Road in the historic Art Deco 420 Building that houses undergraduate and graduate programs taught by a world class faculty in architecture, interior, architecture, landscape architecture, music, theatre, communication arts, visual art, and art history.
Imagine a College that welcomes visitors and residents of Miami Beach to experience art, design and music as it is created.
Imagine a College that is as creative, innovative, and inspiring as Miami Beach itself!
FIU?s College of Architecture + The Arts is welcoming, creative, and innovative. Our recently opened Miami Beach Urban Studios (MBUS) is the dynamic venue that is uniquely situated to partner with and engage the diverse Miami Beach cultural community.
