Power of the Purse is The Women’s Fund Miami-Dade’s annual signature luncheon and the most influential gathering in South Florida dedicated to advancing gender equity, making it a catalyst for lasting impact and community transformation. This high-profile event convenes nearly 800 leaders, philanthropists, elected officials and changemakers from across the community to celebrate the achievements of women and girls, generate critical funding for grantee partners, convenings, data and research, public awareness campaigns and drive collective action on issues such as economic mobility, leadership, health & well-being and freedom from violence. Through inspiring speakers, powerful storytelling and an irresistible silent auction, Power of the Purse not only raises essential funds but also amplifies the voices and needs of women and girls in Miami-Dade.
