Description
Join your Women’s Fund on Thursday, June 1st, from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm for our Advocacy 104 Training in collaboration with the FIU Maurice A. Ferré Institute for Civic Leadership. During this vital training, attendees will learn from Yolanda Cash Jackson and Dr. Agatha Caraballo, experts in the field of advocacy and government affairs, how to advocate for issues affecting their communities by learning the necessary skills, tools, and strategies to be successful advocates! It is critical for community members to utilize their voices to promote a more equitable society and advocate for positive local and state changes.
This will be a hybrid event hosted at the FIU CARTA, Mana Wynwood venue, and virtually via Zoom.
We invite you to review the Advocacy 101, Advocacy 102, and Advocacy 103 workshops ahead of time.
