Please join Sunrise Community, Inc. and Center for Folk and Community Art For the debut of ?We are Artists, Too? We are proud to present a unique tapestry panel of artwork created by artists with intellectual and physical challenges. This art exhibit aims to celebrate artists by showcasing the artistic expressions as seen through the eyes of people with special needs. The tapestry is a visual venue communicating personal feelings, opinions, information and ideas. We invite you to join us as Miami Beach Mayor Matti Herrera Bower assists the artists in unveiling this one of a kind tapestry. In honor of this inimitable occasion, Mayor Herrera Bower will proclaim, June 26th, 2009, "We are Artists Too" Day
