The SFF brings the best of Sicily to South Beach showcasing a culturally-rich and sophisticated program that includes cinema, literature, art, fashion, food, and wine. A week of screenings include films widely-recognized at major international festivals such as: Donatella Maiorca's "Viola di mare" ("The Sea Purple"); Alfonso Arrau's "L'imbroglio nel lenzuolo" ("The Trick in the Sheets"); and "Baaria", from the acclaimed director of "Cinema Paradiso." "Sicilian Cinema's Taste from Leopard to Baaria" "an evening with recipes "stolen" from the screen hosted by Laura Delli Colli, famous Italian cinema journalist and author of "The Cinema's Taste." "Roberto Granata: Sicilian Photographer In Hollywood" " an exhibit of photos portraying some of Hollywood's most famous celebrities.
