PARKING: visitor parking lot directly in front of the main entrance of the Herald. When you pull into that parking lot visitors go to the right there are no guard gates and employees will go left thru the guard gates. For those that RSVP, they will be given a security pass to come to the meeting room on our 2nd floor conference room A. We will have signs marking the way. If someone wants to come last minute that will be fine but they may have to wait for one of the staff members to escort them to the meeting room as security will not have them down as a VIP visitor.

Fees/Admission

It is COMPLIMENTARY to attend. Please respond online so our host will be able to plan for our guests. YOU MUST RESPOND FOR THIS EVENT IN ORDER TO GET A SECURITY PASS FOR THE HERALD.

Join us for coffee and pastries, meet President/CEO Wendy Kallergis and members of the Chamber’s Miami Arts & Design District Council. Network with fellow members and prospective Chamber members.

Also arranged is a 30 minute tour for anyone who wishes to stay after the mixer. The tour will be guided explaining Herald's history, how the press and plate rooms work. The tour should also take you to sound studio where they produce the news for WLRN and Radio commercials for other clients. They will also take you to Video and television studio hopefully you can see actual production being produced. The tour will end in the news room. This is usually the time when the editors meet with the reporters to decide what stories will make the paper and this is a fascinating process. This will help anyone wanting to get a press released published.
