We are celebrating an important contribution to public health made by a local resident - Dr. Mitch Steiner - CEO & Chairman of Veru Pharma and Co-Founder of Miami Medicos LLC, a bio-tech investment club. Veru developed a drug - Sabizabulin - which has shown a 55% reduction in death rates as compared to placebo in moderate to severe COVID patients.
Wine, beer and hors d'hoeuvres will be served.
