PLACEMAKING, by definition, capitalizes on a local community’s assets, inspiration, and potential, with the intention of creating public spaces that promote people’s health, happiness and well-being.
- Some of the ideas discussed so far include the need for public ‘co-working’ spaces, quality of life for our pets and for pet-owners, the need to foster a greater sense of ‘local love’ amongst one another and with the businesses in our neighborhoods, as well as real estate oriented issues like the need for affordable housing options.
