Meet & Greet at D'Tako Market

It all started in Ixtapa, Zihuatanejo where Samy and Alexis Weinberg met Raul Chavez at a typical seafood taqueria 12 years ago. Samy, Alexis and their families fell in love with Raul’s food, seasoning and passion for what he did and they became his avid clients for many years, this is when they started dreaming of opening a restaurant together one day.

Their lives went separate ways for some time and 2 years ago, Samy, Alexis and Natan Wancier as owners of W Gourmet Group group and Raul as chef in one of the best restaurants in Miami found each other, and together they restarted the idea of bringing the true Mexican flavors to the U.S.Today D’Tako Market strives to bring the freshest soft corn tortillas which are made daily at their restaurants, the best local meats and produce and they are always thinking of ways to bring the best experience and ambience to their clients.
