Description
Learn about the early history of Miami Beach, when Carl Fisher's Lincoln Road was "the Fifth Avenue of the South." From a deserted mangrove swamp, Fisher cleared and dredged to create a fabulous winter playground, and Lincoln Road today tells the story of Fisher's dream. This ninety-minute walking tour examines structures both on and off the Road. [Tickets may be purchased at either the Art Deco Welcome Center, 1001 Ocean Dr, or the Latin Chamber of Commerce Visitors Center, 510 Lincoln Rd.]
