June 25th 10am-12pm | Solar Bugs | Ideal for Elementary + Middle School Students
Students assemble a fun, solar-powered circuit that powers a buzzing bug and use this critter for a couple of short scientific investigations aimed at learning more about how light interacts with solar cells!
Outcomes:
- Learn how solar cells create electricity to power different things.
- Learn science facts about the bug they are making.
- Discover how circuits work.
- Explore various scientific explorations with their solar bug.
The Kit
Each student will receive a bagged kit with their own Bug Cards, Solar Cell, Vibration motor, 4 Googly Eyes, Conductive Tape, Instruction Sheet
