Find out how you can take charge of your health with the daily practice of Qigong (chigong). During the class demonstration, Dashi will explain how Qigong can help reduce stress, improve vitality, strengthen the immune system, keep the body fit and pain-free, and enhance lifelong health and inner peace.
Lian Gong in 18 Therapies on Saturday, October 26 at 10 am: It is a system of Chinese Therapeutic exercises designed to forge a strong and healthy body. Effective for preventing soft tissue and joint pain, it combines Traditional Chinese Medicine, martial arts, and Western Orthopedics. When synchronized to Chinese music to the count of 8, these exercises are transformed into a moving meditation.
LIAN GONG is a 12-minute routine designed to promote supple, pain-free joints, rehab old injuries, and prevent cardiovascular and respiratory disease. When practiced to Chinese music to the count of 8, it is transformed into a moving meditation.
A fusion of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese yoga, martial arts, and Western Orthopedics, this practice of 18 forms is synchronized to Chinese music to the count of 8 to promote supple, pain-free joints and rehab old injuries.
Dashi Chu Kocica, AP, is an Acupuncture Physician with over 50 years of experience in Asian Healing Arts, specializing in Qigong, Taiji Chuan, and yoga. After a life-changing experience in 1997, when she cured her partial hearing loss at a Qigong hospital in China, she has been dedicated to sharing these ancient healing methods in the West. With expertise in Traditional Chinese Medicine, anatomy, and biomechanics, she teaches the blissful flow of energy through movement, empowering individuals to take control of their health.
