Quarterdeck Seafood Bar and Neighborhood Grill – South Beach will be hosting its 1st Annual “Labor Day Football Kick-Off Party and BBQ” on Monday, September 1st, 2pm – 6pm. The public is invited to attend and meet the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders and participate in a mini-burger eating contest with a $500 first prize! (Contestants must register to participate at Quarterdeck South Beach prior to the event. Registration is limited.) There also will be a drawing to win a pair of tickets to the Miami Dolphins opening game on Sept 7th vs. the NY Jets. In addition, raffle tickets will be sold by the PAL for a chance to win author Thomas Harris’ (Silence of the Lambs, Red Dragon, Hannibal) custom Impala muscle car which will be on display. Grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, soft drinks, draft beer and a “La Caja China” roasted pig will be available to purchase. Plus many other prizes and giveaways for those attending the event.
