Description
The Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce has recently been approached by both the Chamber of Commerce from St. Maarten as well as the Cayman Islands to consider bringing a delegation from our Chamber to meet with the members of their Chamber to explore business opportunities. As a result, some of our members felt that it might be beneficial for the Chamber to establish a new council dedicated to developing B2B opportunities with members of other Chambers of Commerce outside of the United States.
To that end, we will be holding an initial meeting on March 1st at 11:00 a.m. to explore this potential. We will hold a discussion with those who show an interest about what the expectations for an International Trade Council might be. Based upon the turnout and the results of the meeting, the Chamber?s Executive Board may decide to dedicate the resources to initiate a new Council.
