Description
This month
Where is your mind right now? Is it thinking about what you meant to do yesterday, or what you have to do tomorrow? Research shows that we are living in the
present moment less than 50% of the time. With most of our time spent thinking, maybe even worrying about our future or reliving our past, these thought patterns are a source of stress that can lead to emotional and physical symptoms. Mari Beth is going to help us find our zen and access our power to connect with the present moment by guiding us through a mediation. She will shed light on the application of these timeless practices, and share the benefits of a daily practice and how it enhances personal wellbeing and relationships.
Mari Beth Bio:
Mari Beth began her formal meditation practice seven years ago, though she has been meditating as long as she can remember. Having spent much of her childhood immersed in nature, she developed mindfulness practices through her experiences with the interconnectedness of just being, void of bias or judgment, as is found in nature. Mari Beth has both led and participated in a variety of meditation workshops, lectures, and retreats. In addition to her position as the Director of Business development at MedRite Urgent Care, Mari Beth finds great joy in sharing her practices with others as a teacher at Innergy Meditation in classrooms, corporate settings, and one-on-one meditations. Her passion is to spread the peace and empowerment that comes from helping others develop a daily practice.
*Lunch will be provided by Medrite*
