CHARLES A. CITRIN – PRESENTER (BIO)
As founder and President of Citrin Financial & Insurance, Inc. and a partner in the Miami Beach-based law firm of Citrin & Walker, Charles A. Citrin’s career has centered on assisting clients on financial matters. Mr. Citrin was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised on Miami Beach. He is a 1969 graduate of the University of Miami cum laude and a 1972 graduate of New York University Law School, where he was a Root Tilden Scholar. In addition to utilizing his law and life/health/annuities insurance licenses, Mr. Citrin has served the community in many venues, including as a Past President of Temple Beth Sholom on Miami Beach, as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce, and as Chairman of the Dade County School Board Superintendent’s Dinner, which raised scholarship money for needy students. A resident of Miami Beach, Charles is married to Deborah and is the father of three.

A financial strategist by nature, Craig has a keen sense of what it takes for a business to thrive and succeed, especially in today’s frothy marketplace.  As President of one of the country’s largest insurance and benefit strategy firms, his insight into managing the rising costs of healthcare is both valuable and timely.  In the world of group benefits, Craig has been a buyer of carrier-based, fully insured and self-insured plans, is a consumer of medical services himself and is an insurance agency executive.  He often says that he has been on all sides of the equation when it comes to insurance benefits, which gives him unique insights to the markets.
