Around the World Series: India
Friday November 8
9:00 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Pre-K4 – 5th
Explore India’s Hindi culture through music, dance, storytelling and art and celebrate a culture that is a kaleidoscope of color, rhythm, stories and traditions.
• Create a colorful sand rangoli – a traditional art form that brings good luck!
• Learn a Hindi dance and move to the music of Bollywood
• Play a drum to the raga and tala (melody and rhythm) of traditional Indian music
• Sample sticky, sweet snacks from Rajasthan and a banana Lassi.
$45 for Members, $50 for Non-Members, $20 walk-in fee
