Help ECOMB, the Boucher Brothers, the Surfirider Foundation, Officer Snook Water Pollution Program, Miami Beach Senior HIgh, the SunPost, Teen Job Corps, North Shore Park Teen Club, Miami-Dade County, the City of Miami Beach Neighborhood Services, Environmental Resources, Public Works, Parks and Police Departments, cleanup the beach section between Government Cut and 14th Street beach, Miami Beach. At the end of the event, all collected litter will be removed from the bags and spread out by our staff in two beach areas, designated by cones: one area for cigarette butts and the other for general litter. This will create a powerfull photo and educational display for beach goers as to the amount ot trash being left on our beaches. The litter will then be re-bagged in trash and recycling bags. This is a BEACH CLEAN-UP COMPETITION between the beach sections mentioned above. There will be two Volunteer Sign-up stations and one End station, where all groups will finally meet and where lunch will be served and TROPHIES and PRIZES will be awarded.
