Description
MDPL' s volunteer Fashion Show Director and vintage enthusiast, Angela La Muse, has curated a show inspired by the 1920's to 30's with a touch of mid century , sure to excite! Retro-inspired fashions from local designers will be presented on the runway. One talented designer will be awarded $500 and a booth at ADW 2018. A special exhibit at the Art Deco Welcome Centre, following the festival, will display these fantastic fashions.
The models, who are delegates of the Miss Art Deco pageant, will strut their stuff on runway. Their hair and make-up will be provided by the students from the Beauty School of America in vintage inspired looks. Think pin curls and red lipstick! Be sure to come early and save your spot. This has become one of the most popular events at Art Deco Weekend!
