Mentor a Beach High Student
on
Career Shadowing Day ? April 20th, 2012

The Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce invites you to participate in our 26th Annual Career Shadowing Day on Friday, April 20th, 2012. Be a mentor and take a Miami Beach Senior High student to shadow you at work for a ½ day. Provide a valuable educational experience that will resonate in their lives for years to come. All you have to do is be one of the first 25 to say "yes" and we'll match you up with a student. Join us that morning at 7:30 a.m. at the 21st Street Community Center, 2100 Washington Avenue, where you will meet your "shadow" and enjoy complimentary STARBUCKS coffee and pastries. Then it's off to your workplace. The event culminates with lunch at noon back at the Community Center catered by Pizza Rustica. After lunch, mentors will take their "shadows" back to schools.
