Learn about how to take advantage of our organization at this special  orientation and networking meeting.\n\n\n\nWe're continuing our Chamber Talks Series. This month's ChamberTalk will feature Women's Business Council Chair - Former Pillar Chair\, DeAnne Connolly Graham speaking on "Networking as a Marketing Strategy."  \n\n\n\nDeAnne Connolly Graham has worked in Miami's tourism and hospitality industry for over 25 years. In April 2013 DeAnne created ROI Media Consultants Inc.\, which guides businesses with their media buys and marketing strategies to obtain the maximum return on investment.  DeAnne believes in creating partnerships and strategic alliances rather than fearing competition\, so she focuses on building a strong professional network through her extensive involvement with the community.  DeAnne believes networking is a very effective marketing strategy in creating quality business relationships.\n\n\n\nDeAnne is very active with a number of chambers and associations throughout South Florida that focus on tourism and hospitality.  She serves on the Pillar Board of the Miami Beach Chamber and is co-chair of the Women's Business Council.  She also sits on the Board of the Miami Dade chapter of The Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association and serves on the Miami Advisory Board for the Academy of Hospitality and Tourism\, which prepares a diverse population of high school students for post secondary education and careers in hospitality and tourism.  Outside of business\, DeAnne serves as Chair of the Ayuda Foundation\, a Miami Beach non-profit that since 1977 has been providing low income families throughout Miami Dade with childcare services\, teenage empowerment programs\, family counseling services and elder care services.  \n\n \n\nBring lots of business cards and promotional material\; and for extra attention\, think about bringing a door prize to give away.\n\n\n\nBring a guest and if they sign up as a new member at the meeting\, you will be gifted $50 Chamber Bucks!
