Less than 2%?! \;Despite increased public attention to women and girls issues\, the \;Women &\; Girls Index (WGI)\, created by the Women&rsquo\;s Philanthropy Institute (WPI) \;in 2020\, revealed that philanthropic support for organizations dedicated to women and girls continues to make up less than \;2% \;of overall charitable giving. The landscape of charitable giving to women and girls of color is even more drastic.
