Mayor Bower visited Brampton in October\, 2008 to formalize the Sister Cities relationship. \n\n?I think this is the beginning of a very positive and mutually beneficial relationship\,? said Mayor Bower. ?While it might appear that we are very different cities\, the fact is that we share many of the same interests and priorities\, including our emphasis on new business opportunities and cultural programming.?
