SUMMARY:Mini-Me Science: Little Astronauts
DESCRIPTION:At Frost Science\, we believe it is never too early to spark a curiosity for science and recognize that young\, developing minds benefit from opportunities to play and explore in safe\, educational environments.\n\n\n\nMonday\, November 11: Little Astronauts\n\nGet ready for a sensory journey that will be out of this world! We are sparking an early curiosity for space exploration by introducing some of the tools scientists use to study outer space. Little ones will use binoculars to find hidden objects on a moon poster and make their own model telescope to help discover how some tools can help make objects that are far away\, closer and brighter. Then\, they will gear up for a moonwalk by decorating their own space helmet and even don other space exploration essentials like gloves and boots before blasting off into an exciting learning experience as they explore a pretend lunar landscape.\n\n\n\nMini-Me Science sessions last approximately 30 minutes. All children must be accompanied by an adult (maximum of two adults per child).\n\n\n\nOnline registration closes on Thursday\, November 7 at 5:00 p.m.\n\n\n\nCost is per child (including infants). Children ages four and younger only. Museum admission must be purchased separately to participate. Must be logged-in to membership account to receive discount. Older siblings may participate for an additional registration fee per sibling.
