DESCRIPTION:Please plan to join us for the May meeting of the\n\nEducation Council. \n\n \n\nThe Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce Education Council works closely with principals\, teachers\, parents\, administrators\, students & Chamber businesses. The Committee provides a forum where education issues can be discussed among school system decision makers & local businesses in order to improve Miami Beach's public & private schools. The mission of the committee is to unite the business & education communities of Miami Beach for the benefit of the City's\n\nbusinesses & residents.\n\n\nSome of the Committee's accomplishments include an education brochure for realtors\, formation of the Miami Beach High School Construction Advisory Committee in collaboration with the Government Affairs Committee\, & awarding the Elayne Weisburd Excellence in Education Award\, to the Chamber's Miami Beach Educator of the Year.\n\nThe Chamber was named the \n\n2003 Miami Today\, Best of Miami \n\nregarding education.
