DESCRIPTION:Please plan to join us for the January meeting of our Education as Business Council.\n	\n		 \n	\n		Education as Business Council:\n	\n		\n			The Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce Education as Business Council works closely with principals\, teachers\, parents\, administrators\, students and Chamber businesses. The Committee provides a forum where education issues can be discussed among school system decision makers and local businesses in order to improve Miami Beach's public and private schools. The mission of the committee is to unite the business and education communities of Miami Beach for the benefit of the City's businesses and residents.\n		\n			Some of the Committee's accomplishments include an education brochure for realtors\, formation of the Miami Beach High School Construction Advisory Committee in collaboration with the Government Affairs Committee\, and awarding the Elayne Weisburd Excellence in Education Award\, to the Chamber's Miami Beach Educator of the Year.
