We’re kicking this day off with a traditional West African dance workshop experience. Dance & Groove to live drum music and explore the rich tradition of Africa through cultural artistic expression that will awaken the mind, engage the heart and energize the body!
Our suggested attire for ladies: wrap skirt, sarong or fabric. tights or shorts and a top. For men we suggest: Shorts and comfortable t-shirt.

ABOUT DELOU
Delou Africa Dance Ensemble (D.A.D.E.), is South Florida's Premiere West African Folklore Dance and Music Company. D.A.D.E has been performing at civic, social and academic venues since 1987. In 2010, D.A.D.E. expanded their brand and incorporated a community based cultural arts non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, named Delou Africa, Inc. Delou is a Wolof word spoken in Senegal West Africa that means “Back or Return to”. Delou Africa, facilitates year-round programming and events for children, families and adults. Collectively Delou is committed to promoting unity in diverse communities by bridging cultural and communal gaps through the arts. We provide a continuous platform to showcase and educate the general public on the rich traditions of Africa through cultural artistic expression in dance, drum, music, art, folktale and history. Delou has artists-in-residence at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex located in Miami Florida.
